Research on the implementation of the partnerships 1family 1plan, within youth services

Following the introduction of the new decree on (integrated) youth aid, stimulating collaborations based on the 1G1P is a next and important step in network strengthening and strength-oriented guidance within youth aid. However, the translation into practice is not evident. This is also evident from practical research in the Netherlands, where the 1G1P method has already been applied for some time. Involved services across Flanders are looking for scientific support. KDG's research - which builds on existing expertise - can support the youth aid sector in this. With this research, we want to gain insight into the added value of the organization of the regional partnerships on the one hand, and the application of the 1G1P method on the other. Through a practice-based study at two partnerships, we will monitor the functioning of the interprofessional team. Using the research framework of the effects ladder as a basis, we review and direct the effectiveness of the operation. We follow 6 counseling processes to analyze and support the implementation of the 1G1P methodology. Through in-depth interviews with counsellors and help seekers, we highlight the added value and limitations of the method. We broaden the view to the other partnerships. Students of remedial education and social work question counselors and caregivers. They picture the implementation of the methodology used across the various partnerships. They pay extra attention to the self-sufficiency of the people seeking help, the direction of the person seeking help over the process and the cooperation between the parties involved.
