Humanoid Robotics and Embodied AI for Industrial Applications

In this project, the Mechatronics research group at VIVES University of Applied Sciences explores how humanoid robots, equipped with Artificial Intelligence, can play a role in Flemish industry and society. 
We are building a technological foundation to use these robots safely, enable them to navigate autonomously, and perform simple tasks. Together with companies and research institutions, we identify relevant applications and develop an inspiring use case that demonstrates what is already possible today. The acquired knowledge will be translated to the healthcare sector and made available to education, industry, and the wider public. In this way, we strengthen Flemish expertise in embodied AI and lay the groundwork for future innovations with humanoid robots.
