The Council of Flemish Universities of Applied Sciences and Arts is a unique organisation. We connect and strengthen the thirteen Flemish universities of applied sciences and arts. Guided by our mission and vision, we help shape the talent of tomorrow.
Bringing together all general directors, lecturers, and students from the 13 institutions — along with government and industry partners — requires deep transparency and collaboration. By sharing expertise and exploring ideas together, we ensure that our students’ talents truly benefit society. That’s what we do — every single day, with the same enthusiasm for every new challenge.
The council connects and promotes collaboration and the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and best practices among the universities of applied sciences — all to the benefit of the student.

In addition to the thirteen Flemish universities of applied sciences and arts, we also bring together policymakers, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders. Our role? To share knowledge and connect the right people.
Representing the universities of applied sciences
The Council of Flemish Universities of Applied Sciences and Arts advocates for the interests of the universities of applied sciences. We are an important discussion partner for public authorities and play a key role as a policy adviser.
Communicating and inspiring
We communicate broadly, take common positions, and inspire policymakers. With that purpose, we publish well-founded papers — ranging from current topics and detailed policy recommendations to relevant data and insights.
