Herb-rich grassland in the Flemish style

With this project, three partners are joining forces to strengthen knowledge and knowledge dissemination about herb-rich grassland in Flanders. The cultivation of grass herbs is a promising, robust agro-ecological practice. It is already widely embraced abroad (e.g. in the Netherlands and Ireland), but the area under cultivation remains limited in Flanders. This project aims to identify and address the bottlenecks, questions and doubts surrounding this practice among Flemish farms in both organic and conventional sectors, with dairy cattle, goats, young stock, etc., and grassland management involving mowing or grazing.
