Towards a powerful writing policy in primary school

This project provides teachers and schools with concrete tools for 
assessing writing skills and developing a learning progression across 
grade levels. While previous PWO research focused on the development of an effective writing pedagogy, this project builds on that foundation by exploring how writing skills can be assessed and how this can contribute to a well-thought-out writing policy. Language proficiency is a fundamental pillar of primary education, with writing playing a crucial role. Through this approach, the project aims to further strengthen the writing skills of primary school students in Flanders.
