From guideline to practice: identifying needs, goals and determinants related to nutrition and exercise to promote reproductive health.  Scientific research supports the positive contribution of healthy diet and exercise to reproductive health, but guideline implementation lags. This project investigates what is needed to convert advice and guidelines into effective healthy behaviors and how intermediaries (such as health care professionals, teachers...), young people, couples with a desire to have children and women in (peri)menopause can best support this. By identifying the needs, goals and determinants of these target groups and the role of intermediaries, this project aims to lay the groundwork for effective interventions. The Intervention Mapping Protocol (IMP) serves as the methodological framework and the results contribute to the Health Promotion research group's roadmap to improve reproductive health. This project aims to be the missing link between all existing health guidelines (the knowledge) and effective behavior change (the practice).
