Subproject 3: Advanced and inclusive socio-environmental monitoring and bioremediation and governance for the Peruvian Amazon

Advancing environmental monitoring, governance, and remediation in the Amazon through
integrated socio-environmental research.
The focus lies on linking ecosystem degradation (e.g. water contamination, deforestation) with
health and livelihoods, using participatory monitoring, remote sensing, biosensors, and
nature-based remediation approaches co-designed with local communities.
