AskWise feedbacktool pre-service teachers

AskWise is a feedback tool that supports pre-service teachers in developing strong questioning skills in lesson preparations and microteachings. The tool is aimed at adult students enrolled in teacher training programmes at Thomas More and PXL. AskWise offers students immediate, personalised and didactically sound feedback on questioning and student engagement.

The tool consists of several agents: a transcription agent that converts audio recordings into text, an analysis agent that detects and categorises questions, and a feedback agent that formulates concrete recommendations for improvement based on a didactic framework. AskWise is developed and tested through an iterative process with teachers and students.
