BioValueAI: AI-powered Digital Solutions for Circulair and climate-neutral biobased value chains

BioValueAI develops and validates AI-driven tools, digital twins, and data-enabled solutions to optimize circular and climate-neutral biobased value chains across Europe.
Through five real-world industrial use cases, the project supports more sustainable feedstocks, improved resource efficiency, reduced waste valorisation, and responsible AI adoption in the European bioeconomy. BioValueAI brings together research organizations, industry actors, technology providers, and policy experts to accelerate the uptake of trustworthy and interoperable AI solutions for the biobased sector.
HOGENT is involved in the ‘Hemp Chain Intelligence’ use case. The project will apply AI to optimize the hemp processing chain, from harvesting and fibre extraction to quality control, supporting sustainable natural fibre applications.
