Digital Psychology
The Digital Psychology project aims to address key gaps in digital mental health and the use of technology within mental healthcare. Over a two-year period, the project develops four central themes: (1) Digital applications, including the development and evaluation of ZeroOCD (an AR exposure app), the exploration of Frisky (a tool for sexologists), and the update of onlinehulp-apps.be; (2) Artificial Intelligence, with a narrative review, population and student surveys, and the development of a Flemish AI attitudes screener; (3) Theory, methodology, and instruments, such as the CommA model for sustainable integration of digital mental health, new stress measurement tools, and a short technology acceptance screener; and (4) Policy, with contributions to European and national initiatives on youth, social media, workplace wellbeing, and digital care quality frameworks. The outcomes include practical tools, white papers, peer-reviewed publications, and presentations at international scientific conferences.
