“Educational ambassadors as a link in a sustainable partnership between education and youth care
This practice-oriented study starts from the observation that collaboration between education and youth care remains insufficient, despite shared target groups and policy ambitions. It focuses on the role of education ambassadors within youth care organisations and on education–welfare networks as potential levers for more sustainable collaboration. The research explores how these roles are currently defined and enacted, which challenges and success factors professionals experience, and which competencies and conditions are needed for effective collaboration. The central aim is to understand how these actors can strengthen young people’s right to education while involved in youth care. The findings will be translated into a coherent policy and practice framework to support sustainable collaboration between education and youth care.
