Voice in motion: Strengthening democratic citizenship skills through creative language in young people who feel politically under-represented or unheard.

Many youngsters find it difficult to bring out their voice and formulate their own informed opinion on current issues. In particular, young people with low socio-economic status and from vulnerable living environments show lower voting intentions. Through this project, youngsters experience how politics is also intertwined with their own lifestyles and concerns. Democratic citizenship skills are reinforced through the use of art and creative languages. Network figures like youth workers and educational actors are involved in this project through a co-creative training process.
