We present a project that brings together students and staff of KdGs' Bachelor Primary Education and of the department for Primary Education of Phnom Penh Teacher Education College, Cambodia. During the COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) project the students conduct joint practice based research on the effectiveness of teaching.
Students work together in small international groups of two. They conduct research, both literature reviews and during practica in their home country. They bring their research findings together in online meetings, compare the data and analyses and come to conclusions. The overall objective is for the students to get a deeper understanding of their educational topic by comparing similarities and differences and thus broadening their cultural framework.
